First off, I love your game Arena! I love everything about it, and I can’t wait for more content to arrive!

But I must admit.. As a very loyal and active GW2 player I am starting to loose interest. Not because I am missing more content or that I think it’s getting boring in any way, but because of how you have fixed the problem about players hanging around Lions Arch too much, instead of going out to the different zones.

I think you could’ve done it in another, more reasonable way*, where you don’t have to log in every day and do your daily – because I cannot.
* Yes I am aware of that you don’t want GW2 to turn into a grind fest.

My Suggestion!

I am okay with getting one laurel for each completed daily, but I would appreciate if you’d do so us who are not online every day, can also get our laurels.
My idea to get people out of Lions Arch is about all the events. Instead ofonly acquiring Laurels from dailies, you can also get laurels from completing events.
Maybe there should be a certain percent chance of you getting maybe 1 laurel pr. completed event?

Let me hear what you have to say and bear in mind that I have not been thinking too much about it, so feel free to let me know if you think I am wrong or right
And please do expand to my suggestion of you believe it’s lacking some.

Something Anet should think about indeed!

If there are no technical reasons like electricity cut off, internet cut off, hardware issues, than all the other reasons are just personal choices not restrictions. 30 min in a day means just waking up a bit earlier. Anyway, getting laurels from more sources than just the dailies would be appreciated

At the moment I am only at home in the weekends. With room for social life as well, I am only getting 3 laurels pr. week.

And besides. This is just how I think people can get out of LA

Some people can’t get laurels everyday, and there is no need to. (I missed a few days my self). People with other things they have to get done have to accept that it will take us longer to get what we want done. I have 15 Laurels so I missed 8 days, But I see no need to fix it and i just accept i have other things to do. I dont agree with a weekly, bc Anet needs people to long into their game everyday.

Also if it was a weekly we would be doing about daily X7 if you didn’t log in that whole week you would be spending hours on it trying to get it done and people would still complain that it’s too hard or too long and they don’t have enough time to get it done. So let’s just keep it the way it is.

I also think Laurels a meant to be a long term goal, they don’t want people to burn through their content in 2 weeks. If we got one for each event we would have everything they offer in a matter of about a month, some even 2 weeks.

Just do it how they did it in WoW, Make a weekly with 35 tiers, as soon as you complete 5 tiers you get a chest with your laurel, weekly resets once a week. Easy solution. Also rewards are badly designed, cause since you don’t have any other sources for ascended amulets nobody is going to get anything else, and if they do get something else they do it by accident cause they didn’t see the 2nd tab with all the sweet amulets.

So, you want a company that can’t even seem to figure out how to give a proper percent chance of getting butter, cinnamon, or walnuts…to give you free laurels too?
