There currently is a major issue with many bugged skillpoints.. and now I’m finding it is affecting waypoints as well.

I know people in my guild have ‘server jumped’ just to see if they weren’t bugged on another server – and had success… until the 24-hour restriction on transfers was implemented.

For the first few weeks after launch these weren’t as big of an issue because there were hotfixes, patchs, and updates almost daily. However now, it is becoming too much of a hassle to keep returning to zones that are 99% complete to see if the last thing we need in a zone is able to be done.

Please restart the servers on a daily/nightly basis. I found that when this was the case those ‘bugged’ skillpoints would unbug – if anything for a few hours. This would give some of us a chance to actually complete the challenges and maps we’re going for.

I think it is far better for them to find out the cause of the bugged skill points/events than to “restart” just to make the problem go away. I know, it’s frustrating – but it’ll be sorted.

I have 4 zones at 99% that I travel to daily to see if they magically got fixed… a solution would be the best thing so we don’t encounter this anymore… but a restart would be at least a quick fix.

The 100% map rewards in a zone are nice to get when you complete the zone at the appropriate level… kind of a downer that I’m 30 levels higher than some of the zones I could have completed back at the appropriate level.

I’m ok with them taking time to ‘fix it’ – hence the work around by way of restart.

Two more zones to my list – I now have 6 zones that I cannot complete due to this. =/

I understand there are better things (security) to work on… but I think a server restart – even every little bit…. shouldn’t be TOO hectic considering the amount issues.

Transferred servers for a day – got a couple of the objectives I needed… but others are bugged and some of the same are bugged here.

Guess we’ll have to wait for the 10/1 update (or rumored update?) before we can see a restart

cant help but hear them words “not relase to its ready” maybe they should of let us test more in BWE only seems from lvl 50 + area onwards were things bugg out like mad from the place south of lornar and onwards. building a game with DE as “end game” and them not working isnt the best way to release a game when its ready

Server transfers being restricted to once a day were put in as a sop to PvP whiners who didnt want people to be able to transfer for the miniscule bonuses a successful WvW server gets. Can you imagine their howls if the WvW reset daily again?

Daily resets are a bad idea. Why not, instead of moving backward, simply let them continue fixing the problems? Fixing the bugs completely, while it leaves us momentarily uncomfortable now, is a far better solution than simply having daily resets and down time....

A restart would constitute only a few minutes of downtime – to allow for everything on the server to be refreshed… and skillpoints that were bugged to become unbugged.

During the first few weeks of gameplay this happened every night – so IF something was bugged I could come back in the morning to a working server.

The latest update was said to address bugged Skill Points – so I hope this is a fix, but if the problem persist… maybe something else will have to be done.

Either way, I finally got 100% completion – after 4 days worth of server swaps… sheesh.
