After the latest patch you introduced both a daily and monthly a monthly PvP, which I though was a great idea, it made me think about something else.
Why not make a daily and monthly for WvWvW as well? Then you could remove the WvW achievement (where you have to kill 50 people) from the “normal” monthly. A lot of people are just fussing about the achievement being in there, because it holds them back from completing monthly because they don’t like to play WvW. Or because their server don’t care about it, which makes it a lot harder to get the 50 kill that you need.
That way the daily and monthly would be separated more, so you can just play just what you want in order to get the achievements, and just have fun doing what you like. Then the hardcore players could get some rewards for doing stuff in there, and more people might get interested in doing some more WvW, because you can now get some extra rewards from doing it.
For the reward you could get some Badges of Honor, blueprints, XP boosts etc.
Some things I thought you could do in order to complete the WvW daily and monthly:
- Take over X amounts of supply camps, towers, keeps etc.
- Kill Dolyaks delivering supplys
- Kill X amount of players
- Kill X amount of NPCs (defending the different places in WvW)
- Hold a keep for X amount of minutes while it’s under attack
- Spend X amount of supplies to build siege equipment
- Do damage with siege equipment to another play, wall or gate.
- Help defend one of your towers, keeps etc. (like by getting kills from inside a tower during an attack)
- Do the jumping puzzle in WvW
Maybe it’s just me, but I thought that this is a great idea that I would like to see implemented in the game, in case that it’s not something you have already thought about doing at some point. Anyone else feel the same way?
