So as a thought to help you make some money and add a more immersive experience in game you should create and sell in the lion’s arch trading post different dance moves and expressions. I myself would love to see a Mc Hammer type dance “hammer time”. Anyone have a favorite type dance they would like to see?

Your idea sounds good. Going to a vendor and buying some “animations”, so i really know what i got and dont have to check a kitten “emote-list” in www. But i want to see is and better emote animation system. Currently when u sit down with ur character and go forward, the character just gets up directly and there is no “i will get on my feed animation” between. Sad!

When doing rp its not that “realstic”

I want more animations, all kinds and there have been countless posts about this.

Also, please fix the crying animation! I like it, it is heart-wrenching, but really, no one can cry forever! It should end after 60-90 seconds. I RP and I would use it, but it feels too phony for me to have to move to break it and suddenly I am not crying.

I personally would just like to understand why Anet went with only 5 dances ?

I mean in GW1 we had 10 professions and each profession had two different dances, a male and a female version. I just happen to preuzzing the net and found Frosty Inc Dance video and remembered how cool it was to walk into Lions Arch and see 30 people doing a sync dance. Now you hardly see anyone Sync Emoting let alone dancing. Also there is no Sync videos for gw2 dances. Not sure why maybe it is because there is only 5 basic Races, and before there was only humans. I mean with 8 professions that would be 16 dances if you re did the dances to professions instead of race. Perhaps even keep the race dances and also give us profession dances.

Now I am under no disillusion that if it were to happen it would happen in this game now, I would only see it as a viable change for an expansion but who knows. Anyone else feel me on this?

I definitely agree with new emotes that you can buy!

Imagine what would happen if Anet made dances available like “gangnam style” and “hammer time”…

I think the easiest way for Anet to apply them would be adding them as a reward for an achievement, or just put them in the gem store. In that way players still need to do some effort in order to get them and it will keep people busy and playing.

It would also be cool if the actual songs would be played around that character when dancing, but I suppose that would be too difficult with all the copyrights etc. People playing the emote and posting a dance video on YouTube will be enough I guess.
