Dead enemies just dissapear
I support this… watching a Risen Giant do it’s long death animation before falling to the ground and then it suddenly “pops” gone makes the whole fight against it feel anti-climatic. You’d think they’d leave the giant there just a little while so you can feel good about killing something that big, but nope, just dissapears.
At least the Elder Dragons have cool deaths.
I support this, as well.
I don’t usually watch them die, but if I’m scouting an area and I need to move in slower, I do end up noticing that the dead guy is suddenly gone. “Where’d he go?” I ask myself… I’d love some realistic deaths.
I mean.. is a CPU-bound feature right? If someone have a low end pc, with the
“Animations->Low” option would be enought to keep it in that way.
But if i have a good machine, there is no memory and processing issues.. why not ?

What if it was added as an option?
I like the idea, its a great one.
I also understand that those with low-end systems might have performance problems if its just added.
So if possible it should be either toggle it on/off, or be adjusted via the animations settings or something.
well if the dead enemies stayed on the ground, navigating those areas would be worse, especially if we could not clip through them, or jump over the pile of bodies left by the last DE.

Just make them not clipables (is that a word?) Is something 100% aesthetic. Let them dissapear, but slowly.
If we have 20+ dead body everywhere, is ok, make them dissapear.
