Anet,
I am a roleplayer, and I enjoy creating stories with my fellow roleplayers in Tyria. One of the things I have noticed is that there is a lot of “stuff”. That is, Dynamic Events and npcs are all over Tyria. As a player-vs-environment player, I can see the advantages of this easily; more events to do, an abundance of enemies to fight for renown hearts, achievements, etcetera. As a roleplayer, I can also see an advantage to a lot of “stuff” in the form of more options to work into storylines. However, one disadvantage is that there isn’t a lot of empty space for us to roleplay uninterrupted. For example, Brandalf’s Steading in Dredgehaunt Cliffs has an often-repeated Dynamic Event. A roleplaying guild that I’m a member in often uses that steading for RP, and while we deal with it, the repeated text and event repetitiveness can be irritating. I would like to suggest adding more areas without “stuff” to future zones that isn’t out of the way, like the end of a mini-dungeon. For example, you could have an abandoned campsite or stead by a road without any npcs or Dynamic Events involved in it. Without an abundance of npcs, us roleplayers can better imagine that stead or camp as being populated by whatever group sets up shop there. Tidbits of lore, like the interactive journals, can be left there as well for those who do not RP but still enjoy the setting.
