It’s really bad as an Asura. I can barely see where I’m going half the time.
It seems it’s not high on anyone’s ‘to-do’ list, but I really want that first person view implemented ASAP.
I’m used to a combination of 1st and 3rd person and this lack of being able to zoom into 1st while in a tight spot is irking me badly. I’m miffed at how it wasn’t in the release.
I haven’t experienced that many deaths due to the camera but many, many headaches. I avoid jump puzzles like they were the plague and treat close quarter fights the same way, pulling enemies out if I can. I really miss the camera control/options from GW1 along with first person view for tight quarters. I’m on board for opacity or anything that helps me see in front of my character instead of the wall my back is up against.
The gameplay is just so much worse when I can’t see where I’m shooting/running.
Please fix this!
