This new Tequatl fight is so awesome and forces everyone to work together. I think this is a step in the right direction to break up zerg combat and make fights in this game more strategic. It also shows the potential for expanded squad features. The most useful squad feature I think will be squad colors and squad names
Commanders get to designate a color and name for their squad. That way they can divvy up the roles of each group especially when it’s much needed like in the Tequatl fight. One commander will designate their squad as the “DPS” squad with like a red color. So DPS group follows the red dots on the map. Another will name their squad “Turret Defenders”. Etc.
