Ghastly, Corrupted, Foe Fire, Super, and now Cobalt.

Why are most of the glowing effects blue? Cobalt should have a green tinge to it FYI.

But yeah there’s tons of colours t take advantage of, twilight and dark asuran are the only red with an effect, and it’s not even a true glow. No greens or vibrant purples. Zenith maybe for yellow but that’s hardly a glow, used to light up when using it haven’t seen the effect in so long.

We need more double edged Greatswords that glow diffrrent colours than blue.

Gimme some Green and Red!

woa woa woa,… do you really want LA more glowy? You need sunglasses to walk around now… besides why would you want more colors? And Greatswords!? the most average joe weapon in GW2!!? It will be like walking in a club…

I agree with Daishi. I would love to see more colors to effects than just blue. Later I am going to write an idea in that light visual effects be added to weapons (gear?) based on the upgrade that’s in it. Maybe I’ll post a link to it here for you when I’m done.

How about adding a slight visual effect (to weapons that don’t already have an effect) based on the weapon upgrade you are using?

Or maybe based on the insignia used to make it? Perhaps green insignia and better have this effect. Perhaps the better the quality of the insignia, the more intense the effect? I’m not thinking anything too crazy that would outshine some of the more impressive weapons out there, but something modest yet cool could go a long ways in making a player feel like they made or found a powerful weapon. Especially when all the skins are so boringly the same before level 80. ESPECIALLY the crafted weapons.
