During teamplay, I try to pick out certain combo fields to either blast, whirl, etc. My problem is that there are so many fields on the ground that you can’t tell them apart. To add, ranger’s traps and necromancer’s marks all look like possible combo fields. A suggestion I would to add would be some sort of representation of what current combo field you’re standing on. Let’s say somewhere near the health bar, possibly a smaller thinner bar with specific colours to signify what combo field you’re standing on, ie. red = fire, blue = lightning, etc. etc. This could lead to better team synergy since most people don’t use headsets with pick up groups. I would also like to know which combo field procs if two or more are cast at the same time. Thanks! Unless there is something like this in the game, then I would like to be corrected =)

This is a nice to have but not needed situation . Smart players will learn what skills are fields and finishers and of what type over time/ through play.

That’s not what he’s talking about. He’s saying a different coloured circle for different field types making identification faster and more intuitive when you have multiple fields in place although since the oldest field gets blasted in it is a moot point.

Personally I think the combo system needs some iteration, it’s way too simplistic in it’s current form of field spamming.

I don’t use the circles at all nor players/enemies/npc’s names on my view so for me its the visual not the color of it, but it can be added, it won’t hurt the game play.

combo fields already give off a rising “combo heart” effect around their edges, but it isn’t very high, so people don’t tend to notice it

Honestly, if multiple people put out overlapping fields, it would be nice if the blast could finish all of them simultaneously. It might be an incentive for people to actually use their blast finishers.
