Game Balancing – Most of the game is balanced but the area that is not balanced well are the foes that can hit you once or twice and you die. I’ve come across bosses that you practially can’t beat and you die so easily, it just isn’t fair or fun. It seems like you have to hit them a thousand times to kill them but they hit you a couple times and you are dead. How can that be if both of you are supposed to be of the same level or close? This is especially the case if you are penalized by being leveled-down in lower areas-just dumb. Some of the bosses/foes are just too overpowered. Why are they not level-adjusted too like the players to offset the player/players/group fighting them. In otherwords, if one or two players are fighting them make it reasonable for them to beat the boss and just give lower rewards. If a group is fighting the boss (say 5 or 6 or so) make the boss a little harder and give a little better reward. But as it is, I just don’t even try to fight them any more…it’s not worth it and it’s not fun, and from what I’ve seen many other players do the same and just bypass.

I have no idea what you’re talking about. The only things I know of that can do this are World Bosses and Dungeon Bosses, neither of which should you be in a position to just get laid out by.

Based on all of your “complaints” it really seems like you don’t know a lot about the game, but also don’t seem terribly inclined to learn. You need to try a different class, work on your armor and traits, something cause you’re definitely doing something wrong.

I’ll be honest, the first time I encountered a Veteran I got my butt whipped, bad. But I was also running ahead and doing hearts three levels above me, which put mobs three-four levels above me, which means the Vets fight at the equivalent of about six-eight levels above me. Life sucks when you don’t understand, but once you leanr and figure stuff out, it gets better. I agree with Kal Spiro, you need to slow your role and learn the game. This isn’t Guild Wars, this is Guild Wars 2. Stop finding something that kills you an annoyance and try to figure out why it happened.

Ability is what you can do; Motivation is how much you do; Attitude is how well you do it.

So you came across world bosses that you can’t beat single handedly. The same type of bosses that give you credit for “group events”. ……..Think about it.
