I think it would be a useful feature to allow us to change our display names, especially if the current name is causing problems such as my current case, I’ve never really had any negative reactions in the past but a few people seem to have been offended due to the inclusion of offensive language which has made me pretty unhappy with my current display name.

It’s a fairly minor issue admittedly but adding this feature in would certainly help, even if you could only change your name once or had to pay for it in the gem store I’d be more than willing to.

Well , if people report your name and it is really a bad name , they will allow you to change it.

Still i know they will add name changes eventually , should be soon with the other cosmetic custom stuff.

I was trying to change mine as well due to personal reasons a few months ago.

I sent a ticket in and the super nice gm Mikala replied that they DO “intend to add a feature which will allow players to change their own Display Names.” But it’s not possible atm and they have no estimate time for when it will become available.

I agree that there should be a name change service. I want to change my characters name but i don’t want to start the character again.
