This can’t be a serious suggestion.

while I like the idea of community and players helping each other out, you should not place a limit on this kind of thing. Bad idea IMO.

I have a secondary guild of my own, with only me in it, for storage reasons only. I only represent it when I’m accessing my separate storage. If this gets dissolved I lose all my stuff. They should make bank access cheaper imo, but whatever, thats up to them.

Smaller guilds are great. Don’t force them to join huge mobs of guilds with no community feeling whatsoever.

The larger the guild, I find, the less helpful everyone is as a whole.

OP, you do realise that many of these small guilds are actually made up of family members or close friends who want to play together, right? Who are you to dictate how small or large a guild must be to exist?

My current guild of 5-10 active ppl are way more helpful than a guild of 50 -70 active ppl.

I am saying this cause I have tested it. Just by simply saying hello and I got no reply from a player pool of a 100 ppl, but my entire 10 guild player pool all said hello back.
Thumbs down for this post – think the ppl you have in mind prob all belong to big guilds that will kick you out of the guild for being afk for a week.

Ummmm, me and my 2 storage guilds think this is an absolutely horrible idea. Anyway, those small guilds with just a few people aren’t bothering you. If they are happy, it’s no concern of yours.

My guild includes:
3 family friends
My wife
My mother (Yes, my MOTHER plays GW2!)
And soon my nephew will be joining.

Is this seriously a suggestion? O.o

My brother, dad and mom are among them
they have a friend and his son in the guild as well
we picked up a sailor who was looking for a guild that wouldnt kick him for being gone 6 moths at a time

what you suggested is just stupid

Makes me want to start a guild just for Military Personnel so they don’t lose their guild while deployed.

Horrible idea! My guild is a few close longtime friends and would be horrified if GW2 “dissolved” our guild and we lost our guild points. Please DO NOT do this!

How about we auto dissolve any guild with over 50 active members instead op? Destroy every large no name guild (yes, no-name, as guilds that big cause few people to honestly know each other beyond aquaintence status) and force everyone into smaller guilds where youa ctually know the people you are associated with.

Don’t like that idea anymore than the small guilds like this one? Yeah…I thought not…

If you think people eliminating small guilds will reduce complaints, well … you have a thing or two to learn about people.

Lets just pretend this dumb idea did actually get passed.
People could just buy someone to actively log into their guild for 10minutes a day, every few days.

Dumb ideas are dumb ideas.

If the person wants to be in a small guild, they should be in a small guild.
If they want to join a larger guild, no one is there to hold them back except themselves.
