What I’m talking about is using say – Iron dye on one piece of armor, e.g. Armageddon’s, then using Iron dye on another piece, e.g. Inquest, and getting different results.

I hope this will get ‘corrected’ in future like some of the texture issues addressed some time back, but I somewhat don’t see this happening.

I love my there are parts of certain sets you can’t change the color of.

My Charr necromancer looks great with his undyable pink scarf for his masquerade set.

Yep, you shouldn’t get two different hues from the same dye. I had that happen to me with either Oxblood or Lifeblood — the primary section of my shoulder armor was a very different shade of red than every other place I used it.

I agree. I’ve found this to be pretty annoying especially when I’m trying to make my new armor look less like a clown suit. Any dye color should be -that- color no matter where it is applied…period.

I don’t mind the dye being a different color depending on weight (cloth vs. metal, for example), but it is irritating when the colors don’t match when you use them on a single character. For example, I used the Apprentice gloves and boots with the Magician top and bottom, with light blue and purple dyes. The boots matched great when I dyed them either color. The gloves were significantly darker when I dyed them blue, but matched when I dyed them purple. -scratches head-

The un-dyeable parts drive me nuts, too. I love the Conjurer set, but the un-dyeable brown trim, not so much. >.<

it annoys me, yes. i have to fix it by using similar dyes so that i get the right color on all pieces.

there’s having a texture, then there’s making it a different color for whatever reason. sometimes red dye looks pink, sometimes it looks red.
