I think it would be more original if every pg could use two professions and merge. For example Ranger / mesmer all utilities are equal and there are both those of the ranger that mesmer but the choice is always reduced to 3 because the weapon skill can select 1/2/3/4/5 of ranger or mesmer .. . for example, I choose one of the ranger and 2 of mesmer … while the traits are unique and you can only choose one of the two classes. The book for learn another profession it cost 1kk karma.

they did this in guild wars 1… also no i think the fact that they are so different and individual is what makes the game good
