Many times i have been in the down state, waiting to “die” while a few mobs beat on me – I can’t say I like the mechanic at all to begin with (its annoying most of the time), but if it must stay, can’t we have a 5th button to allow to to ‘submit’ or ‘give in’ so you can respawn?

Yeah, I’d like a 5th “Goodbye Cruel World” option. /signed

I like the down state mechanic. It’s unique. And what is it if we wait like 10-15 sec to get killed? Does it feel so long time? I think not. Besides, in those down states people can come to revive you and they can do that, but for lone rangers like you, of course you prefer to suicide. It take away all your trouble.

I at one point did wish I had an “End it All!!” button.
I was on a personal story, and a swarm of undead were attacking me, and I had to use a special weapon to kill them.
I was in a downed state, and my NPC partner kept reviving me, but the mobs were doing so much DPS that I was just staying in a downed stated, being revived and DPSed for quite some time. I Tried both helping with using bandages and my other skills… I also tried doing absolutely nothing…. It took FOREVER (ok well it felt like it).

In the end, the mobs finally won, and I re spawned, and finally figured out how to use that blasted weapon.

so, yes, at that point I so wanted an end it all…
