Ok my first suggestion. Here we go. And sorry for any misspells
This is mainly for pvm.
So lets get down to business. i think downed state makes the game too easy. I think 5 downs before you die is way too powerfull. This doesnt really matter if you’re playing solo (unless you’re a ranger) but boss fights are a joke.
For example: 20 people at fire elemental. The elemental downs 3 guys. they get revieved. Then they die again and get revieved again and again and yet again. There is no way the boss could kill them 5 times before the fight ends.
Another problem is ranger. You can tank almost anything while downed using lick wounds (when it works) and get revieved. I can be hammered by a boss or 5 minions and my health would still go up slowly. Now i dont want lick wounds to be nerfed. That would only make it underpowered.
So my idea is to give everyone 1 downed state before they die. If you die again you’re dead. This would allow bosses and other mobs to slowly decrease the number of people by killing them and make the fight harder for the rest of the team.
To counter this there should be something like rune of revive. Or just rework rune of mercy.
The effects would be something like this:
(1): Revive allies 10% faster
(2): You have 2 downed states before dying
(3): Take less damage when reviving allies
(4): You don’t lose health while in downed state
(5): Revive allies 15% faster
(6): You have 3 downed states before dying.
