Dragons are nothing, but a big Joke!
Wow, this must be the best suggestion ever. I really wonder how long it took you to think bout it. And the amount of details, O M Gosh, WoW.
-end of sarcasm mode-
Welcome to the suggestion forum. I would kindly ask you to eloborate more on what the issue is with ’dragon’s.
Currently there are 8 dragon’s in the game. 4 of them (including an elder dragon) are in a dungeon called the ruined city of Arah. They are indeed a bit easy to kill. The most important reason is cause its part of the main story line and Arenanet wants everyone to be able to do this.
There is also a dragon in a personal story, though he should be capable of dealing more damage, the fight has in my personal opinion the right difficulty level.
Last off all there are 3 dragons in dynamic world events. One could argue that the first two (the shatterer and Tequatl) are a bit easy. On the other hand they are nothing easier then any other world event.
After you explained properly what your issue with wich part of the game actually is I would like to invite you how you think this should be ‘Fixed’. That in the end is what a suggestion is all bout.

EDIT: Moved to top post, because why not? No point reading this, but leaving it here nonetheless.

Oh well.
I gave more than enough information in my post on dragons, and if you didn’t get that message or understand what I am talking about then I guess you are just slow… They are simply too easy. 1 minute after they’re announced, they are dead…
Do something for gods sake, it’s ridiculous. I thought events scaled with the amount of players. In which case, Tequatl, and the Shatterer both need desperate attention. They’re the “Big bad dragons” after all, that everyone in the lore is so godkitten afraid of. Really, they are too easy.
Then there is Jormag, whose only difficulty is how he artificially lengthen the battle by forcing players to bash on a block of ice that has far more HP than the boss itself while casting a cheap damaging debuff on people that get too close… He doesn’t do ANYTHING while he’s behind that block of ice! He summons his minions, and that’s it. He just sits there behind his block of ice going “Can’t touch this!”… It’s not hard, it’s just tedious.
Actually, in most of the battles, the dragons don’t do kitten. The things you have to look out for are their minions. Look at Tequatl when he first arrives. He kittening leaps out of the ocean, wrecks a tower before he lands in front of the big scary cannon. Then what? He drops some stuff from his wings… Once in a while he’ll cry, and make everyone turn away laughing at the sight of a crying dragon. What if it used it’s agility to actually do something else than stand still taking anything that hits it? It’s clearly capable of such considering it’s entrance.
Elaborate enough for you?

While I haven’t done the end game content yet, I do think that some of the combat could be a lot more dynamic overall, concerning big bosses, and by big I actually mean physically large.
It’s funny that combat between players is very engaging and exciting, yet when you have to fight a big foe, all he usually does is roar or do other fairly generic attacks.

Again!! Wich bloody dragons. Given the fact that you name Tequatl, I assume you mean the ones for world bosses. Well I dont see an issue with specificly the dragons and e.g. the maw, the shatterer or the mark II gollem.
So I think your suggesting is to make those events, all world bosses and not just the 3 dragons, more dynamic.
In that case you have my vote (except maybe claw of Jormag, he is actually a good example how it can be done).
But I think you should tidy up your language and your attitude. A good suggestion is measured by how many supporters you get for one. So tidy it up, make it for all world bosses, not only for dragons, use Jormag as a good example how it can be done, incorporate the fact that they should be still doable with smaller groups of people and you will have my vote.

The biggest problem with the dragon events right now is that they have safe-spots. During the ice shield phase of the Claw, everyone just practically afk auto-attacks it to death and then charges in to DPS him. For the ice shield phase of Claw, stand in front of the shield, away from the safe-spot. Look at that, there’s attacks you need to avoid/deal with! The dragons might just start to be a challenge when people are forced to actually deal with their mechanics instead of standing around in safespots and 1-spamming them to death.
Could more be done? Heck yeah. But unless safespots are dealt with, no changes in combat mechanics will mean squat.

Don’t need a lesson, and I don’t think you should run around educating people on behavior. Sometimes, ventilation is all that’s needed. The only thing that matters is where you do it.
I agree that most of the world bosses are too easy, especially the dragons that you are told to fear – until you actually face one and just laugh… Remove those safe spots and have it so you have to dodge and use all your skills to have any chance, and even then it should require some sick team work to actually kill the dragon. They’re after all world bosses, not spam 1 and get the event bosses…
Fighting a dragon should be just as difficult as fighting a player.

I support him.
Maybe increasing rare drops in other parts of the game is the answer. Like for clearing temples in Orr, High level champions, and Jumping puzzles. Also adding more world bosses over time will spread players out.
Teq, Shat, SB, Maw… most of the world/meta event bosses in general… they should be more like Jormag and Grenth… ok, maybe not QUITE as hard as Grenth, but still. Multi-phase encounters with different mechanics that have a chance of actually failing.
