Dual/Multi Speccing
Build specs and template load-outs were one of the best and most unique things about GW. I really hope ANet brings that flexibility back, even if you can only change builds in town, and I hope it’s a flat gold cost at the trainer (to avoid inflation). Gem store FTL…
If you have 10g you can buy more bag slots. If you already have all bag slots and using 20 slot bags AND you are still running out of space then you really need to stop being a packrat.
I’m more concerned with alternate trait setups than the armor/weapon slots. I’d love to be able to change from support to DPS depending on the situation without having to go back to town.

That would be contradicting your other post but I was replying to OP anyway.
I would like to see this as well but I can’t think of anyway to have it and still work with the devs’ desire to have a build sorta mean something(they mentioned this in some of the pre-release stuff) rather than something you change at a drop of a hat.
Simply being able to save/reload builds would be a step in the right direction. On the other hand you can build with flexibility in mind but that will probably require some sacrifices.
Every class has the ability to run a “dual spec” in the sense you can set your traits up so that all you need to do is swap around a few trait skills and utilities, maybe your gear set and you can be support. The problem with this, is it takes a while to do, eats inventory space keeping all those extra sets, and is just not a feasible mechanic. I think the main focus of this problem should be, as many of you mentioned, a quick load feature like GW1. While this won’t solve the gear problem (and in GW1 you really had the same problem, but inventory was easier to acquire), it will allow for viable swapping of builds. Even swapping them in towns instantly would save a ton of time, but I think it would make more sense to just be able to load/swap out of combat like we do now, but with a quick load button.
~Surrender fiend and you will get an easy death
~I could promise you the same…but it would be a lie…

I would love to see something like this. I’m completely ok with having to store my extra amor in my inventory. I just want an easier to switch between my PvE build and my WvW build. They can even keep the part where we have to use coin to respec, just make it so that I can do it from my Trait screen instead of having to run and find a trainer.
Here’s my suggestion:
-Gold cost to buy a second slot(10g sounds reasonable)
-Extra slots cost gems
-Still have to carry around the gear for each set
-Still have to go to a trainer to pay for retrain(they are already in every major city for PVE, and I believe there’s one at the WvW spawns)
-Ability to save gear loadout for each spec
I’d rather have selectable armor sets than dual speccing at this point. I wouldn’t say no to it, though. I swap specs a LOT.
Bump. I really want to see this put in place.
