Dual builds
It’s something obvious that should be in-game. GW1 had the ability to save your build templates – there should be the same in GW2. Even with the silver cost (let the cash be removed from your inv. each time you change traits.)
I’ll grant, in GW1 you could only change builds in town, but if they broadened that to allow for changing any time you were out-of-combat, life would be good.

Slot Skills
Traits
- trait 1 (free, the current one)
- trait 2 (2g to unlock. also unlocks the build 2)
- trait 3 (2g to unlock. also unlocks the build 3)
- etc
Builds
- build 1 (free, the current one)
- build 2 ( only unlock-able by purchasing trait 2)
- build 3 ( only unlock-able by purchasing trait 3)
Note
The current trait window will be available when selecting in Trait1 in the list and not simply “traits”
Traits and builds will be in connection with each other. Trait 1 / build 1, Trait 2 / build 2, etc
The builds will only apply to right side skill bar and will not affect the weapons skills left side bar
Two builds cannot contain the same skills
Switching builds in combat similar to weapon swap. The specific builds need to be [x] checked in the Builds
No support i guess :/
+1
Plus, I also support having a seondary armor set that is togglable like your secondary weapon. This whole thing is a no brainer.
There’s times I want my critical higher, or my damage, or magic find, etc. Switching my gear can supplement my build. I can go tanky or glas cannon, etc.
This game is not good for versatility as is. Unless they change it, I wind up having to have separate charactrs for separate tasks.
