Dungeon Finder
Cool idea, what about a world wide channel ?
Or some area in the world where a certain group of people hang, etc?

I think a simple interface or box like the Trading Post box would be good enough. That way people could multitask and do other things while they wait for a dungeon group to assemble or be complete.
This has already been brought up many times. Anet’s reponse is they are currently working on it and they promise it will be released before 2013 has ended. Please do adequate research before posting a suggestion, espicially one so popular( as it was in other well known games it’s not a unique suggestion and hence it’s probably around somewhere). Thank you.
Edit: In case you were wondering, they are also working on fixing the whole leader leaves the instance and everyone gets kicked.

Thanks. The feedback is much appreciated. I’ll keep research in mind from now on
That would be cool or a world wide channel. I go to a website for the group finding thing. It would be even more cool if there was a World wide channel in the game itself (making the game seem more completed )
Something like the spvp match finder but adapted to dungeons. my 2 cents.
Agreed, I envision a UI whereby the user can view a listing of all available dungeons (only ones he/she has already discovered and is eligible to play), you could expand each dungeon and options for “Story Mode” and/or “Explorable” (Maybe even Explorable Path 1, 2 etc), the user can tick a checkbox against either the dungeon as a whole i.e. you would do any path, alternatively tick a specific path. The user can check mulitple dungeons.
Then some magic matchmaking and viola you get a pop-up asking if you would like to join this party for Dungeon X, path Y and you are ported to the dungeon entrance into a new party.
That would make me hit dungeons more often, personally, I don’t mind grouping with randoms, I just hate sitting outside a Dungeon spamming map chat looking for a PUG.
Instead of just posting another Dungeon finder topic, I’ll just post my idea here. First I’ll start by saying the OP’s suggestion isn’t quite right since dungeons can be contested, allowing it to start automatically circumvents the whole reason of having a dungeon become contested.
What I see is rather than a UI devoted to ALL dungeons, separate UI’s accessed by clicking on the dungeon icons in the map view. By clicking on a dungeon’s icon (contested or not) you would be given a prompt for either story or explorable mode, followed by an option to either List your party as looking for others (including class priority for those who need a guardian, or want their all-warrior CoF party), or to search for a party, which would bring up all the listed parties available. An ability to “name your party” listing would allow people to list which or all paths they are doing.
I don’t think auto-teleporting to dungeons is a very good idea, since they make us pay for waypoints for a reason, but to be able to form a party quick and efficiently shouldn’t be barred.
