If I want dungeon armor or weapons, I have to run that dungeon. Over and over and over and over. It’s boring, restrictive, and it doesn’t fit with the “play the game any way you want” philosophy in my opinion.
So there should be a token conversion NPC or what have you. The problem is, this is easily exploitable, because one can just run another dungeon with a quicker route, convert them, and end up with more tokens than if they were just running the actual dungeon.
Fortunately the solution is simple. 4 (or any arbitrary even number) of any one token = 1 other token. So if I wanted a token conversion, I’d have to REALLY want it.
This ensures that I can branch out into other dungeons, experience more content, prevents being locked out of a dungeon because there aren’t any groups around at the moment, and when all is said and done still be able to get specific dungeon gear. Players can play dungeons without ending up with tokens they won’t have any need for. All time can be time well spent.
