Dye Suggestion
I agree with for the fact that Black & White are not colors.
I say if your characters are all getting black and white dye’s by 70 please let me use your Hacks please. I have 5 80’s and I have gotten 2 abyss dye’s sold one. That was on my toon that had full MF gear and buffs and I bought 60 UI dye’s and got 2 of 60 and no black or white dye in the process. In fact I have yet to see a Black or white dye that wasn’t in TP.
With all that said I think making it common so you can have an easier time getting it or the prices go down is silly.
The reason people want them is because they are rare (expensive). If it was red and green colours, it would be those people wanted.
If they are colours or not depends who’s eyes look at them. As light they aren’t but as pigments they are.
Another thing is, there is no true black or true white dye’s in GW2

Ahueheueh, white is in fact a color, although it lacks a “hue.” White as we see it is the mergence of all wavelengths of the color spectrum. Black however is not a color, as it does not emit light.
Black is still called a color though because who wants to be that anal about colors
Everyone should just wear pink.

Lol, Like I said it depends on how you’re profiting, you have to be good with your money and sell lots of stuff and all that nonsense and I only have one character that’s 80 my other is like 12.

White is not a color! I understand how light works a little better then you.
Light is both particle and wave at the same time. You can not see the wave properties of light.
This is the same with everything else in the universe. When you don’t observe a object it is a wave to you. When you do observe a object you see to as particles.
I’d say black and white is desired because it carries a common meaning for many players. Kinda like how red in GW1, though not a rare drop, was still higher priced in the market. The colours have social meaning ascribed to them by individuals as well as the group. As long as that meaning is more powerful in MMO appearance terms, then the market and drop rate can reflect it.
They also should be put there because they aren’t even the blackest or whitest colors in the game.
You want them to change the system to accomidate you? Yeah no. Trying to get those dyes adds a non-advantage carrot to chase that’s good for the economy. And I’m not saying this because the first dye I got after lauch was Abyss.

What does that have to do with colors? It the basic physics definition of light is irrelevant, all that matters is that our eyes are sensitive to the EM spectrum, and how our brains process it. White is a color, technically an “additive” color/non-spectral color, but a color all the same.
If you want to get more technical, the color of an object that you perceive is the wavelength that the object reflects, which enters your eyes. Therefore a banana reflects yellow light, and snow reflects all wavelengths, giving the color of white.
To say white isnt a color is to say color doesnt exist, and before you try to say its not a color since it isnt an actual EM wavelength, consider purple. Purple doesnt exist as a wavelength, but as a combination of blue and red, which is processed by our brains as purple.
While purple and white could be considered “non-spectral” colors, they are still colors.

Untrue,Black – White are colours that look tight on alot of armors, and alot of people in alot of mmo prefer these colours over, green, pink etc.Its not because theyre rare, its becasue it looks awesome most of the time. And yes there are true black and true white dyes in Gw2.
