I think my desire for this comes from me loving how the carrion swords look… Besides the color. I know it’s a plant type deal but I think it’d look a lot sweeter in red or blue.

but how about the issue of some items that has similar appearance,

like seraph weapon vs golden weapons

inquest weapon vs mystic forge weapon?

Different dyeable zones for each? Realise that it’s not that big a deal?

The issue I have is that all those cheap pearl exotics basically only look good if you match your own colour scheme to them, basically meaning you’re stuck with Blue, a different shade of blue and white.

I hate the green of my exotic, would love to change its colour.

+1 for me. Love Arah weapons but my colour scheme is black, red and gold, and a bright blue sword wouldn’t really.. you know, work.

I’d love this feature. If I recall correctly we could dye weapons in GW1 so this would be nice to do again!

I support this idea. The yellow on my Ebonhawk staff clashes with the Sincerity on my armor.

Would be nice and would add more customisation for sure.

I’m using a shield and as most swords/axes match many colourings the shields not. I can’t use my favourite shields skins because they don’t match.

+1, this suggestion is too good to be passed up in my opinion.
though i would suggest having blades have limited dye options, while handles would have no limit on what dyes can be used.

I agree, it was possible in GW1 so why not in gw2? I’d like to costumize my character’s weapons like I used to in order to “adjust” weapons easily to my armor looks.
