I would love so much to have dyes that glow to highlight certain parts of armor.

for example as an asura in t3 medium i have several parts of my rmor that could be used as a light source but it does not glow or look like it is.

maybe make them on the gemstore in packs of random glowing dyes. this would give me a reason to invest in the gem store.

or have them sold from a dungeon vendor for colours that amtch that dungeon.

example CoF vendor can have glowing firey dyes such as reds oranges yellows etc.

TA can have the greens and purples.

RNG from black lion chests maybe (wouldnt like it hwo ever)

make it seperate from the normal dyes. so not included in the unidentified dye bottles.

etc etc. just dont make them random drops or tradeable as then they will be at very high costs and no 1 but the few rich ppl can enjoy them.

having glowing dyes will give a real impact to armor

now this is my asura in arah and the lighting at this location gives the illusion of glowing dyes. Also i use midnight ice and ruby dye here is a screen in LA in normal lighting.

I’m not a fan of this idea. I don’t want to see every player running around in bright glowing armor, would be really gaudy looking and silly.

If glow is applicable (like with the Asura cultural) then they should just make those parts glow by default, not require glowing dyes which could be applied to everything to make it silly.

I like it, it should be very rare OR it should be on certain things by default (Electro) without being attainable as a separate dye.

Full support. I’d love animated dyes too

I’d like to see metalic dyes (like juggernaut), some type of ghostly/transparent dye, and they could do particle effect ones like electricty, smoking, heat, glowing & icey dyes.

But these would have to be super rare, maybe like 1/1million through unid dyes, or in blc. You defenetly dont want to see them around everywhere, but when you do you, it looks amazing. They could be legendary color too, & probably would be insanely expensive on the trading post.
