These need to be changed, I realise you are in the process of, and already have, made some changes to these events; making them once a day per character, and also increasing their loot rarity etc. There is, however, one issue which is persistent, has been for a while, and is related to a previous message I have sent you. When you get disconnected during one of these events (however much damage, or whatever you do to input into the event), say for example, claw of jormag, you could deal 99% of the damage to him, then disconnect just before he dies, when you log back on, you get NO reward. The whole point of these events, is that they are a difficulty spike in the game to increase the players desire to actually play the game, but the spike is pointless without the aforementioned reward. A loss of reward leads to disillusionment with the game, it’s like working a hard week at work, then someone saying “hey, that was free, thanks!” Actually there wouldn’t even be a thanks, you wouldn’t go back to work the next week would you?
So my suggestion is this, you need to make it so that, if you participate in an event, you get a reward, even if you’re offline when the event ends. I admit, it will lead to one problem of people going onto alt’s, and getting the reward on their characters many times off one spawning event, but you can set in a clause, as you already have with only allowing each character to gain a reward off each of these events once a server day, you can surely make it so each spawn will only reward one character on an account per spawn, no?
If there are any flaws in my suggestion, I’ll happily see about a work around
