I like the whole idea but here’s a few suggestions that might make that map a little more fun.
For the arctic zone, why not add Icebrood mobs? Like the corrupted norns of svanir, ice elementals and all sorts of things like that? I don’t recall fighting any Kodans throughout my gameplay. Unless you plan on releasing new content where some Kodans become corrupted and bring fourth the “cold winter”. (nudge nudge, hint hint [good content idea here?!])
As for mobs in the area, you guys should add groups of mobs and wide range zones. For example: in the jungle area there should be a wide flat forest that is literally dark, where zergs can go at it. In the desert just have an open dry field with 1 tree or cactus in the middle with a skeleton leaning against it; to show how hot and dry it is in that area. In the arctic area there should be a dark forest similar to the fractals forest.
If this is the “Edge of the Mists” the name should make the maps sound really dynamic. Each map should have limited vision since it’s the “edge of the mists”
Instead of adding an Arctic zone blizzard content, there should be a constant snow storm. For the Desert zone there should be a constant sand storm. For the Jungle there should be a constant rain storm. Adding these effects into these areas will draw more attention towards them and make them seem very “epic” to play on. Small things can make big changes
Maybe add more mobs in the area?, but not like orr where you cant take a single path and not run into a risen mob. There should be a safe route but PvE mobs if you steer off course!
Also, PLEASE add factions (Mercenary Camps) It’s a great way to turn tables in fights, try to make mercenary camps a little more challenging! and helpful!
