In theory they would not have so much trouble , if they maintain the top stats of the gear still static.
If this game would really keep a lot of progression up , then yeah ,but lets hope for the best and this will not become wow like when it comes to gear farming.

That is because you see them like weapons , which they are not , they are skills.
Pretty much like eng kits are skills , they cant custom that either , and not like ele , without kits they got a lot less skills.
Conjured weapons inactivate equipped weapons. Saying they are skill make no sense in that regard.

So … pretty much all transformations are weapons , kits are weapons , pretty much anything that changes you 5 equipped weapons skill , which is a hell lot of stuff…
are NOT skills , they are all weapons , and thus now by this logic we must be able to edit their stats.
Hell now i agree with you … Anet will have a lot of balancing to do.
Anything that disable stats of your equipped weapon is a weapon. You are physically swapping out your weapons for these kits. If they are not weapons, why are your weapons disabled ?

This can also apply to engineers, but I don’t play engineers enough to know.
