Hi,

Wooden Potatoes from Youtube made a good video about Elementalist Conjure Weapons and improvement suggestions / critique. I hope you’ll find time to watch it, I agree with him.

EDIT: By request, major points from the vid. I believe I got most of it right, I’m at work now. I don’t have much time to re-check.

-ditch the charge system for conjured weapons (already got 60s expiration timer and sufficient CD to deter misuse)
-ditch the Fire major trait Conjurer (increases CW charges)
-ditch the fire major trait Burning Fire (additional burning for Cleansing Fire, Signet of Fire, Conjure Flame Axe and Conjure Greatsword)
-make up better traits to replace those two (suggestions below)
-ditch the AoE burning for Axe/Greatsword summon location (you summon CW for allies, not to hit foes)
-bump the attribute bonuses that CWs give, you could also make this bump a trait
-make CWs instant or make a trait that makes CWs activate instantly
-make CWs traitable so that they instantly appear to caster only, ditch the targettable duplicate weapon
-make CWs more powerful, revamp the “glyphs” skills for the weapons

Greatsword:
-ppl use this just for skills 3 & 4
-make greatsword attributes Power and Crit DMG, greatsword is powerweapon
-change skill 2 to be like Mesmer GS skill 3 (keep the animation)
-skill 5 is like a bad Glyph of Storms, increase AoE radius, DMG & projectile hitboxes

Ice Bow:
-Bow seems supportey weapon (boosts Healing Power)
-ppl use this just for 4 & 5 (DMG)
-make skill 1 ground targeted, faster cast time
-make skill 2 inflict 2-3 vulnerability per hit + tiny bit of splash heal for allies
-make skill 3 ground targettable like GS skill 3, boost range, make it penetrating attack
-skill 4 mismatched if Bow should be a support weapon

Lightning Hammer:
-good autoattack but kitten by the charge system
-skill 4 is terrible, hits rarely

Fire Axe:
-design this to be a better Condi Weapon
-skill 3 should be a ground targeted AoE (non-blast) with heavy base DMG. Like 3 thrown axes at once, each axe inflicts bleed + maybe vuln.
-skill 5 should be more like Fire Grab. The more DMG the more conditions target has
