Elementalist Evasive Arcana trait under water
I can confirm that my warriors Damage on Dodge doesn’t work underwater.
The trait Evasive Arcana:
Create an attunement-based spell at the end of your dodge.
Fire: Flame Burst. Water: Cleansing Wave. Air: Blinding Flash. Earth: Churning Earth.
Each spell can be triggered once every 10 seconds.
My suggestion is to make this work under water too, but perhaps replace the specific skills that are used under water with other equivalents because the skill designs like the Churning Earth might not work well under water..
Why, you ask?
1. This trait is a Grandmaster trait. This means that you need to put 30 trait points into the Arcane row to get it. Those grandmaster traits are strong and are meant to be strong in my opinion. If it doesn’t work underwater you are basically “wasting” 5 trait points while under water.
2. Equivalent “On-dodge” traits from other professions DO work while under water.
Examples:
All those traits don’t have a cooldown like the Evasive Arcana, cost less trait points and do not become useless while fighting under water.
Necromancer (Place mark on dodge), Warrior (damage on dodge) and Engineer (bomb on dodge) have on-dodge traits too, but I didn’t test those under water. Can anyone confirm if those work?
