Make it so that killing the same minor creature in the same place over and over again progressively gives less rewards , quickly reaching ZERO XP and ZERO loot.

Obvious way to do away with bots and boring farmers?

Eliminate farming! Get your chance to get your fine mat (whatever for) the first time you kill that creature, if you don’t , tough luck, move on.

T5 mats will probably rocket to well over 50s a piece, and T6 will probably go 1g+ with your suggestion. I highly doubt anyone would be 100% fine with that.

This would essentially make legendaries impossible to get. Literally impossible since you can’t farm for gold nor the mats to get it.

I’m sorry, but this suggestion is not one that is well-thought-out. It’s an obvious way to get rid of botters and farmers, until you think about it and realize it would eliminate all players too.

This is why there is (currently a bugged) DR system in place and it already hurts the players more than it hurts the bots. No need to punish proper players more..

Well, I never touched other MMOs and only got this because of hype about not being focused on loot and gear treadmills.

I seem to be in a minority of players that don’t give a hoot about legendary items , I just want a fun game , not a grind to get a possible edge in PvE combat.

Why should anyone get any reward that can be used towards a legendary item from killing trivial enemies?

Is botting still a problem? haven’t seen any in a long time but hey I don’t know what happens on your sever. as for your suggestion I think you need to consider the economy of the game like ExTribble said in his post. plus being an old Gw1 player I can’t see what you have against the good oldfashioned past time called farming.

I haven’t seen it directly, only seen people mention it.

You can buy gems for cash, so what was that about the game’s economy?

Well, you know, some events require you to hang around one place killing things repeatedly until the event is over. And then the next part of the event chain starts, requiring you to kill even more stuff.

And its not just hanging around a waypoint, it punishes people that run all over a zone killing things as well. Heck, currently it seems that even switching zones doesnt save you from the overzealous DR.
