Guild Wars 2

With all these improvements we get on a monthly basis, one area IMHO which is in desparate need of TLC is emotes. Some are great don’t get me wrong, I love the crying animation for norn males – cracks me up everytime – but the dances are a big fat MEH compared to GW1…MEH!!!!

Warrior dance anyone?!?!? How about busting out a break dance while a guildy is banging on invisble drums while another is playing a tune on the worlds smallest violin…classic. That stuff never got old and there was a ton uniqueness across the spectrum…bring em back…update for a new generation…be creative.

I would imagine emote packs will eventually be available for gems.

Any chance we can get something other than race specific dances…I mean even if it gem store related i’d take it over the existing ones.

Bring them back. Please.

I second this! rewards nowadays are all about gear or minipets. I want something different as a reward.

We will probably never get it and i would probably get the naughty stick for linking it but for that moment when you come round the corner in WvW and find a 40 toon zerg coming the other way i would like to be able to emote one last act of defiance

I have asked for and still want a “kneel on the ground and curse the heavens” emote since day one. Right before I res anyone I would use this emote.

I do wish there were more emotes in this game. Having played wow and randomly emoting my bf all the time, I am extremely restricted on here

i would love to see the old instrament emote back thoughs were great XD

why everything has to come with gem now? we had tons of emoticons in gw1 for free and the game is still running….

seriously though, i want those emoticon back, i prefer have and not use it that dream about it…

The current dances are so terrible and jarring for immersion T_T What was wrong with guild wars 1 style dances.
