I want to have an option to show or hide (or customize?) all my skill triggered back gear such as the engineer backpacks. As a person concerned about the aesthetics of my character I find it very awkward to have them showing at nearly all times. It’s not something you incorporate in your “theme” when you make a character.

But the “backpack” is part of what skill you are using. so other people will see and know. It´s like the color change on elem when choose an attunement, the aura a warrior irradiates when he is on vengeance.

IT´s more like visual clues than just “aesthetic theme”.

Then I rather a different sign to show the enemy than a backpack. My high tech asuran with a hiking hobo bag is a hugely off putting idea. Perhaps different things for different races. humans with backpacks and Asuran could have some tech etc. Would be nice if this applies to turrets as well.

Heh personalize any skill to race of any class and assure you.

Other classes will begin to fall over Anet till they also get it. And that will mean + work for them.

Give an option to personalize it, sure. But make it dissapear (or even hide) just doesn’t make sense to me, for example if you’re using the flamethrower the fuel for it has to come from somewhere…..
