I have been playing an engineer since day one and i love the class. I spent about 6 months building The Predator, and I am still in awe of how awesome my rifle is. I only have one regret and that is that I gave it to my engineer. The moment an engineer swaps to a kit all the effects of Predator are lost (footsteps, aura, etc). To enjoy my weapon i have to stay in a rifle only build, which will causes me to loose out on some damage. I was just thinking since engineers can only wield 3 on land weapons (rifle, pistol, and shield) would it be possible for the footsteps and aura to stay on the engineer while in a kit?
I agree, My best friend is an Engineer and I feel he deserves dem foot steps and aura at least.
This issue has been run into the ground. Repeatedly. By me.
I’ve made multiple treads on the subject and the only dev response has been Colin saying what amounts to “we know, but we’re not going to do anything about it.” I invite you to the engineer sub-forum to further discuss in other threads, and please RSVP to our upcoming engineer protest rally on the 17th.
