Instead of each server having its own instance of a zone such as Caledon Forest use the overflow technology to fill each instance. Server A has 100 people in Caledon Forest while B and C only have 10 each. Currently players on B and C may never get to complete the zones champion events due to lack of players. Instead place all players regardless of server into the same zone instance until that instance is full. Then create an overflow instance and fill that one next. This maximizes the population in each zone ensuring that players actually get a chance to play alongside other players. Currently it feels very lonely in most of the zones.

If this were done, we might was well get rid of the idea of Servers altogether, and make WvW a Guild-vs-Guild game mode.

Not a bad idea, except Guilds are restricted to 500 members, and WvW is so integrated with the game now.

This would have no effect on WvW, it would only affect PvE areas. Though I suppose the server allegiance might become confusing. Could make the towns like Lions Arch have a unique instance for each server and only allow the cross-server instances in PvE areas. The idea is to turn every PvE area into what overflow servers are currently. This way the zones get as many players in them as possible for a richer leveling experience.

I think that this sounds like a good idea and although it is understandable people may be confused when it comes to world vs world, but at the same time it still feels like the areas you are exploring and doing heart events st a lot of times feel very empty.

I find that the PvE areas in most mmo’s are barren and devoid of players shortly after release. Would be a good idea to put everyone from every server into the same zone instance rather than having 20 zone instances with only a handful of people on them. It gets dull having no one around to help with events or simply to chat with in chat.

I was going to make the same suggestion, but luckily I found yours through the search. This idea has brought Aion back from the dead. The reason I don’t play this game that often anymore is because there are never enough people to do events with.
I was trying to play it tonight because the game I’ve been playing is making the conversion to f2p. I did my story quest and moved on to run an event that used to be popular. There was no one there. I’m sure I’ll have to swim around after the orrians take it over just to continue my story.
I wished I’d been playing before the paid server transfers. I may have found a more populated server. I’m not paying to move, since there are too many free mmos that don’t have this problem.
I hope the next time I come back it won’t be so dead. I remember how much fun this game was when it first came out. It’s kinda sad playing it now.

Not a bad idea, but some people want to do events on their own server with their own guild, so I’m guessing that this feature should be optional.

An option that can be toggled on and off would be fine. For party sized groups you will still be able to join each others instances. For guild wide groups I could see full underflow servers presenting the same problems overflow servers present now so an option to turn this off wouldn’t be a bad idea.

+5 for your suggestion bro i hate the feeling that i see on my mini map oh there’s an event but get disappointed because nobody want’s to do it or you are alone on that map pfff the idea of no kill stealing is good if there’s a lot of players killing the same mob but heck here in guild wars 2 you will be overwhelm by mobs because only few players on every pve map yeah i feel bad for the divinity’s reach designer

i don’t think so even we meet on the same instance you still represent your home server everytime you go the the WvWvW guild wars 2 we have a very huge map and we only meet few people it’s so boring it will be much fun if we have more people doing hearts and more dynamic events they should also add that every month new dynamic events
