Enhanced Achievements idea
It’s a nice idea but sounds horrible to balance :/ if anything the boni would be in a 0.something% range since arenanet doesn’t want players who play much to have an advantage over players who don’t.
So I was thinking about a way to make achievements fun and engaging. I remember in GW1 when you had titles you could display them and they gave you a buff. What if achievements worked like that? Say for Drake slayer achievement when you tick the check mark by it each level you would get something like:
Lvl1-1%, Lvl 2-2% up to the max level of say 10% more damage Vs Drakes. You could have only one active at a time. Maybe the “banked” achievement would give you +% gold find per level. Or kills with an axe would give you +dmg with axe per level. Just something that made me wonder and also they could sell something in the gem store to allow you to have 2 active at a time.
I feel that it would be more interactive then a shiny solid bar. Let me know what you think.
