Guild Wars 2

When replacing weapon pair with a two-handed weapon, the offhand wpn goes into my equipment bag, where it is visible to be sold to a vendor. But I never want to sell a weapon that I previously had equipped. Would be better if it went into an invisible bag.

• Similarly if on hero screen, drag weapon or armor off the body into inventory (but there are no specific bags on hero screen, so can’t indicate which one it is going to). Want it to go to invisible bag.

Just ALT-Tabbed from the game to make this exact same suggestion.

Simply put – I would love it if things I un-equip to go back into the bag they came from if there is space.

Yeah i support this idea, if you take off and item , make it jump into the inv bag directly.

I agree with this. I’ve got invisible bags on most of my character but when I unequip they go in with the sellable stuff. Now I could change the order of the bags to have the invisible bag first, but if I did that, it would fill up with junk and I’d still be wasting time on rearranging bag space. So the ability to ‘remember’ the last storage space would be great, if possible.

Anet: I know you are working on a lot of things but please put this feature at the top of the list.

Agree…this annoys me too. I like to run Hammer / Rifle on my warrior but occasionally switch over to a sword / warhorn in place of Rifle for running. I’m always afraid I’ll accidentally sell one of my items because it ends up in my equipment bag alongside my sellable loot.

Better yet, they should make it like GW1. In GW1, if you equipped a 2H weapon while you previously had 2 1H weapons equipped, you kept your offhand equipped when you switched, it just didn’t do anything. In this sense, all that happened was that the 2H weapon replaced the 1H weapon in your main hand and you never had to worry about your offhand vanishing into your gear pack to get merched.

I’ve sold many a warhorn on accident because of this.

Not sure if there’s some technical limitation as to why this can’t be done, but this is one little thing from GW1 that worked perfectly. Would be nice to have it back

Please have this done, Have the items be linked to their original bag if possible or something so the offhand item doesn’t accidentally end up being sold because your you wanted to go hammer/greatsword on your warrior/guardian or longbow/greatsword on your ranger list goes on
