Event Audio Distance/Direction Effects
Yeah, I got really tired of “PROVE THE SUN SHINES THROUGH YOU!” in Caledon. Agreed.
Currently, most (if not all) event audio seems to have no distance/directional effects applied. This can be especially confusing if you’re in an area with several events running at the same time.
Audio volume for events (heralds, maniacs monologing, etc) should gradually falloff over distance.
Audio for events should be positioned with stereo/surround effects so if you are interested in joining the event (or running away in fear) you might have an idea what direction to head in.
