Yes the gw2hero website is useful, but the game should show events on the map you are in, not having to rely on a website to find this info.
I know the original design for gw2 was to try and make this more immersive where you happen to stumble upon events while travelling, but for the most part of players now we like to find events to do on our mains or alts, for fun, karma, daily/monthly achievements etc…
Maybe they are working on this, who knows, but it would be nice to log in and play gw2 without having to keep alt-tabbing to websites to find things to do, especially when leveling an alt it’s very useful to know where the events are happening on the map you are playing in.
Incorporating the LFG tool ingame was a step in the right direction removing the need for at least one website, now let’s keep the ball rollling with this way of thinking please
