I have not thought this through and I do not know the pros and cons, and the consequences of doing it. But I have had dusk for quite a while now and, in the meantime, I have grown fond of the juggernaut. So, I am thinking about exchanging dusk for the colossus. Dusk is more valuable than the colossus in the BLTC, but, if I try to sell it and then buy the other one, I am short due to the transaction fees.

Would it be not a nice option to be able to exchange items of more value for items of less value, maybe getting some gold compensation in the process, which then could be taxed?

Please, forum fellows, tell me why this would be a terrible idea.

If you used your dusk, it’s already soulbound, you can’t trade anymore.

and what you’re saying is like I bought a Iphone, but now my preference is a Android which is also cheaper, why not change one?
Some store got their change policy, but seems not with Anet.
Beside, what if over 2w colosus suddenly change the price? That means rich/economic can speulate on this thing to gain more gold.

Of course I did not use dusk. I know the game insideout.

And your message goes in line with the trend in these forums, where folks find the problems in everything instead of brainstorming solutions, contributing nothing to the threads people start with all good intent.

I never bought dusk. It dropped. And I never used dusk. Thus your phone comparison is complete nonsense.

And FYI. Rich economies ARE already speculating in the BLTC. Did you notice?

I doubt you’ll see this in the BLTC, but if you mention it in your MAP chat and make a post about it in each of the Guild Forums, I bet someone’ll jump on it; if for no other reason than to make money on the flip.

I’m sorry I stepped outta yer box, don’ worry, if
ya whine enough they’ll put me right back.
