No-one in my whole guild knew of a way to exit WvWvW besides logging out of the game, or maybe travelling for 5 minutes through the sPvP zones, or something.

Could we get a button to exit WvWvW and return to the spot at which we left the normal world-zone? Or…if there is one, make it a bit more obvious? :P

I’ve tried WvW once or twice since that post, and no-one anywhere has known how to do this.

I’m going to stop playing WvW completely until there’s some reasonable way to leave PvP. Getting stuck in a PvP-world with no way to get home is just infuriating. I’ve heard a number of people say that they won’t go do WvW for this very reason.

It’s a shame, because WvW is the closest thing to a PvP-situation that I actually like. I normally hate PvP, but this has a lot going for it.

You either exit the game or go to the portals and port out. You aren’t stuck anywhere.

I take it you’re not referring to the lions arch portal at the spawn waypoint in WvW?

If we could return to our original position from where we signed up, there would be no reason for the Portals in lions arch to be there….

I think you guys are being too dramatic….you can either go out the portal to AL or relog wich leaves you in the same position you were before entering wvw…and as a fun fact for me it takes less time to go to character selection screen and relog than the loading screen I get from crossing the portal to AL

I think some people are being too dramatic about no exit but nonetheless, I fully support an option to leave WvW back to the place you entered. Mists is done this way and it’s common sense for people to want the same thing in WvW.

This game is freaken GREAT, but it’s not perfect. We need more suggestions like this so GW2 can improve.

You can use the asura gate to LA or go to the heart of the mists then leave the mists.

They should add a leave the mists button on WvWvW though.

You can logout to character select screen, then log back in with that character, and you will be out of the WvW zone and back where you were standing originally.

Obviously because this is possible, they might as well have an Exit WvW button somewhere. It’s not like it would really change anything except save a couple of clicks.

Never saw 4 big portals near waypoint from which you started your WvW? And your whole guild did not saw it either? Omg… i lost hope in people.

The first time I tried WvW, I easily found how to leave it… lol just had to look around the point where I arrived.

but still +1 to come back where we was instead of coming back to the Arch lion.
