Guild Wars 2

I would love to see a “free Elona” expansion. I don’t know if it would be a good idea to have it be the very next expansion because we would be trading one undead boss (Zhaitan) for another (Palawa Joko). However, after an expansion or two, it would be really neat to be able to introduce Elona by it being freed by the players.

If anyone else has an expansion storyline suggestion, feel free to post it in this thread.

You know, it’s funny how even though I’d love to return to Elona myself, I never thought what a good storyline would be.

My idea for a Cantha storyline actually has a bit of prologue to it, namely that to other races, it seems Queen Jennah has been trying to reconnect to the lost land and regain human supremacy in Tyria with the largest existing human empire still around.

It then turns out Jennah’s been working with the Tengu and wants to help a band of revolutionaries bring down the xenophobic Canthan Imperials. Possibly with Shing Jea Monastery serving as the launch point of the whole campaign, the monks there care little for the Emperor’s increasingly tyrannical laws, and are willing to give shelter and land to the foreigners and non-humans.

That’s about as far as I got.
