Expensive clipping...
This also happens with store bought armors on my Asura characters.
Aetherblade medium and magitech medium helms, where i’ve adjusted brow height, clip making the armors look wrong (something that doesn’t show in the preview).
Hiho. Well, when the radiant armor came out, I was thrilled. Glowing white, looking like heavy armor on my asura-elementalist and being awesome alltogether.
After running through the light armor chestparts to find one which wouldn’t cover up the radiant vambraces and fit my taste, I came upon the profane greatcoat in the pvp-locker preview, which appeared in my usual choice of celestial white…covering up most of the clipping at the wrist. So I bought that profane set. Today I tried a different dye-pattern and saw it: “A clipping?! NOOOOOOOOOO…”
Now, I spent the money before I noticed it, but I guess it’s even more annoying for people who chose to run with the profane armor long ago.
I know that some armor-combos will always clip, but if that applies to things like the radiant set(consisting of only three parts) and armors you need to buy in the gem-store, this becomes a design-flaw(which are rare in GW2-artdesign).
Though I highly doubt it, it would be really great to see a small correction on these armor-models so they don’t clip each other anymore.
