A lot of us are getting VERY fed up with all the hackers and exploiters in the game, and it doesn help that even though an entire guild has reported a player for exploiting in the game, a month later the reported player is still around using the same exploit.

and they, and all of us have every right to be. These exploits have been around since launch and yet nothing has been done about them. Any thread created in WvW forum is infracted telling people to email the report in; but what good is that if there are still hacks around from the launch of the game?!

This reflect very badly on Anet, what measured are you taking to remove these hacks, exploits and the players who abuse them? Because we are not seeing any progress, which has led to many to think if t’s been in the game so long it’s a legitimate tool or feature to use.
The above linked thread, the mod states “any other tool or program that allows you to zoom further back, hence providing you with an advantage over other players, is not allowed and considered an exploit.” So what is to be done about multi-monitor setups and the zoom hacks?!

So I suggest another sub-forum be opened titles Exploits and Hacks, because even ingame we dont have an option to report for hacking or exploiting! We want a fair game, you want a fair game, because if hackers can get away with it other players will just leave the game, which isnt what you want.

And by infracting people for reporting hacks and glitches, even to inform the community about it so they know to look out for it, to us that looks like Anet is covering for the hackers. Infracting those posts will not do anything but alienate your players.

You can report them ingame, I often do since I too dislike exploiters. Just pick the botting/cheating option. Close enough. It’s convenient because it adds an automatic screenshot.
I especially hate those teleport-farming bots that teleport from one ressource to the next. They are so fast gone that you often can’t capture them. Does anyone know a trick there?

Omaris Mortuus Est.2738 makes a very valid point. I was recently assaulted by another player (I have no idea what class they were, probably mesmer judging from their tools) who managed to follow me around a region for about half an hour making my life an utter misery by casting right in my face (and of a colleague who also experienced the same with me) and who caused my character to repeatedly fly into the air. I had business to conduct so did not immediately teleport away, but this begs the question as to why the reporting system is such a shambles and why most people don’t bother using it. There is no option for reporting instances such as the above, and worse, opening the panel it warns you that you could be held libel for false reporting! So immediately the reporter is on the offensive and worrying about being blocked or banned for reporting the abuse of another person!

You would think that we could be given access to better muting features too, so once you have identified a griefer you can click on them, isolate them and nothing they do from that point on effects you. Even better fix it so that if they target you or come within range of you, they are automatically ejected a distance and cannot harm you. Perhaps if this happened the idiots might quickly get the message stop abusing the system and other players.

Problem is that reporting seems to do nothing. Someone on another server said their entire guild and other players on a server reported a hacker, and a month later they were still there using the same hack.

WE keep hoping the next update will do away with some of the exploits, but alas we still do not have the option to kick an offline party member in WvW yet! Anet adding more content on a monthly basis atm is a good thing, but also a very bad thing as they have not patched the current exploits and are just introducing more coding which will be vulnerable to the same exploits and possibly add more exploits. e,g, the SAB zoom exploit.

We need to know what’s going on and what’s being done, as those who see that some exploits have been around for months already believe they are not exploits and how the game s meant to be. So more people will use it, and we dont want Anet to then turn around and claim it is an exploit even though they left it for so long and now you’re all banned.

You really can’t report a player for hacking, it’s not an option. So reporting a player for whatever it is they are NOT doing (since they are hacking) doesn’t really work. Adding the option to describe what the player is doing and a hacking option would be a huge improvement. The fact the game does not have one just shows it’s bad design

All i can suggest is to boycott wvw till its fixed if enough feel as you do it will get fixed sooner or later..

The teleporting bots are a pain in the backside, especially the ones the port in to wps and poi’s as they seem to start every event which ends up broken/busted further down the road.

As far as using the hacks in WvW I have no use for anyone who cheats to win a game and if people would only report their guild members/teammates we would have no cheating in WvW. The hacks are quite easy to spot if you know what you are looking for.
