As the title says, I would like to suggest the option to exchange tokens from one dungeon to another.

Example: I got 30 tokens from completing AC, but I want the set from Arah. I can take these to a vendor and exchange them for 30 Arah tokens instead.

As my guild tend to like to try different instances and not stick completely to the same one, I tend to get alot of tokens from instances I’m not planning on farming. For myself I’m currently farming TA as it has the armor sets that suits my Sylvari, but others in my guild want different sets and so I’m faced with turning them down and farming TA Explorable with PuG’s or Grouping with them and going to other instances that I don’t need. Which means I get useless tokens that just take up space in my bank.

Every Armor Set & Weapon costs the same amount of tokens for each instance tier, so an exchange option should be made possible. We are still putting in the same amount of effort to get those tokens, as every instance is just as hard as the other.

This isn’t a thread to suggest the reduction of the amount of tokens needed as I don’t mind farming it all in, it makes the set that much more unique. I just want to be able to exchange tokens from other dungeons, that I worked hard for and are at the moment going to waste in my bank. With an exhange option in place I and many others that are in my situation will be able to join there guild groups instead of PuGing.

Sounds like a good idea. This would allow player’s to do different dungeons and try different things instead of farming just one dungeon until they are sick to death of it. Not seeing a downside to this suggestion, and in line with the “Play it your way” philosophy.

Yeah I am in exactly the same situation. I plan to collect as much of the TA stuff as possible as I think its great. But it would be nice to do other dungeons fr more than just the ‘fun’ and not be spammed with various tokens I will never use.

If the tokens were account bound then maybe it wouldn’t be so bad, but they are bound to one character, so it’s not like I can even use the tokens I don’t want to use for my main, on an alt.

This would allow people to farm CoF, the fastest easiest dungeon, to get gear from any dungeon.

Which is why its a bad thing.

I made a suggestion like this but with the stipulation that easier runs would have lower rewards.
