Explorer Mode.
Well that is an interesting thought. Though this might also be exploited as a means of bypassing a lot of enemy mobs…
ehh, nah, id rather fight my way through the world…fairly unrealistic too, because a centaur isnt gonna say “Oh he’s in explorer mode, dont attack him!” haha
I would make a different suggestion in the same idea, Make the ability to make a Explorer Character, this character would have a bag with 1 slot, no armor, would literally appear as a Ghost of the race you choose and could utilize waypoints for free. This way you could explore but couldn’t attack or be attacked and could go explore, the only thing you could receive from this character would be 1 Gift of Exploration at 100% (reason for that 1 slot bag), that way there would actually be a use for this character, you could place the gift in the bank once you had it.
Due to the downlevelling system, I would suggest that you alternate between the areas if you have trouble keeping up.
If you explore all the starting zones, you’ll most definitely outlevel them fast enough

Very good point. To counter this, you wouldn’t be able to turn off explorer-mode until you returned to a waypoint where you have previously quested.
Explorer mode would destroy the feeling of discovery, fighting to explore is what makes the game fun

What makes the game fun is an individual thing, LittleBigAsura, and cannot be decided by someone else. While you enjoy fighting to explore, I enjoy simply exploring, chasing vistas and points of interest.
