Guild Wars 2

Here is a simple suggestion for a technical feature that may be useful for some players. I often times finding myself alt-tabbed to another window or leave GW2 running in the background when I’m playing. (i.e. I play for a few minutes, browse the Internet for a few minutes, tab back in, repeat etc.)

Would it possible for there to be an option to throttle the FPS to a low value when GW2 is running in the background so that our video cards do not have to work at full speed during that time? (I have my graphics settings at max power, and I don’t want my video card to work that hard when GW2 is not in the foreground.) I believe some other games have this option (e.g. Diablo 3), and I feel it would not be a complex technical option to implement.

I was rather shocked to not find this option. Would be very nice to have. Not that I would play gw2 at work or anything while we have free time…
