Falling Damage & Combat mode
If falling damage didn’t put you into combat mode, the damage done would regenerate instantly.

Note, combat speed is a global thing that applies to call classes, it’s only more noticeable on ranger because of pet AI. Giving ranger a pass on combat speed would be quite unfair ^^
I don’t think you are right about that actually. On no other class I have played do you get slowed down to a crawl just for jumping out of your base in spvp. It is extremely noticeable and unfair as it stands.
everyone gets slowed down when taking any sort of dmg no matter what it comes from.
I play a necro, and it happens to me constantly. Its especially annoying with the new JP, because the launch pads cause falling damage… thus limiting your forward momentum, and causing your jumps to fail.

I love when you miss the jump because you get damage in the air and your speed decreases with this system ….
