What are feast tables?
Feast tables are basically summonable tables. Their purpose is for chef to store food into it so that other players can take it out to eat. It last for five minutes until it disappears. Any food inside that isn’t taken will go back to the one that put food on the table.
There can be multiple options on who is allowed to take food from the table.
-Friends only
-Guild only
-Everyone allowed
If you are blocked by the one that stored food into the table. You cannot take food from that player that stored it.
Then there are multiple rules and features
-One food per player
-The food is soul-bounded or the player gain buff immediately after taking the food from the table.
-Tables can be destroyed.
-Players can walk though tables(To avoid blocking griefing)
Why?
-This is so that Chefs don’t have to mail to every single one of his guildmates food consumables.
-Give fellow WvW allies food buffs without having to mail them food items.
-To simulate a party.
-Chef profession will be appreciated more.
-Any chef that has extra food items can put them into the table so they don’t have to waste bank space.
Feast table can be a potential Gem shop item but I rather not have it in the Gem shop but it’ll serve better. It is a convenience item like exp boost and doesn’t sell power. If it is in the Gem shop, there is a possibility that it’ll be everywhere like the Forest of forgotten Foliage.
If it is a gem shop item, the amount of table could decrease dramatic. Unless there is someway around it.
