Guild Wars 2

I was thinking, in real life what brings people to visit cities. Festivals and events came to mind. I think making rotating festivals in all major cities would get people to show up there. Maybe every week have a festival in a city along with mini-games and festival specific prizes for completing events in the city. All festivals could have something to due with the host city’s lore or something. I was also thinking it would be cool if a guild could put on an event in a city other then LA for a large amount of influence and for everyone who visits they could get so much income split between there guild members. When doing this they could choose between several mini-games to give guests something to do. I just hate to see these amazing cities empty all the time. What do you guys think?

i actually like the idea, been playing lotro for over 2 years and festivals there are regular, also one of things i love about the game the most and im sure i would love something like that in gw2 too
